Haiyan was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2007. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 74 km/h (40 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 994 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 27.5°167.7° to 39.1°174.1°, crossing a range of 12 latitude and 6 longitude.
