Mangkhut was a Category 2 tropical cyclone that formed in the Philippine Sea in 2018. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 204 km/h (110 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 905 hPa tracking across the Philippine Sea in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
