Vongfong was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the South China Sea in 2002. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 74 km/h (40 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 985 hPa. Tracking across the South China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Taiwan. The storm traveled from approximately 14.1°109.4° to 24.0°115.2°, crossing a range of 10 latitude and 6 longitude.
