Vongfong was a Category 3 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea and Japan region in 2014. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 213 km/h (115 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 900 hPa tracking across the East China Sea and Japan region in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
