Sonca was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2011. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h (70 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 970 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 19.4°142.5° to 42.9°172.2°, crossing a range of 24 latitude and 30 longitude.
