Xangsane was a Category 1 tropical cyclone that formed in the Philippine Sea in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 157 km/h (85 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 940 hPa tracking across the Philippine Sea in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
