Shanshan was a C2 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 204 km/h (110 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 919 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 13.5°123.8° to 36.4°138.7°, crossing a range of 23 latitude and 15 longitude.
