Sonamu was a Tropical Storm tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea and Japan region in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h (35 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 992 hPa tracking across the East China Sea and Japan region in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
