Vamco was a C1 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2009. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 167 km/h (90 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 945 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 11.3°154.5° to 52.5°171.6°, crossing a range of 41 latitude and 17 longitude.
