Cempaka was a Severe Tropical Storm tropical cyclone that formed in the South China Sea region in 2021. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h (70 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 980 hPa tracking across the South China Sea region in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
