Mangkhut was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the South China Sea in 2013. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 74 km/h (40 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 992 hPa. Tracking across the South China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Taiwan. The storm traveled from approximately 10.9°103.6° to 21.0°118.1°, crossing a range of 10 latitude and 14 longitude.
