Morakot was a Tropical Storm tropical cyclone that formed in the Philippine Sea in 2003. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 83 km/h (45 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 992 hPa tracking across the Philippine Sea in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
