Maria was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h (70 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 975 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 21.2°136.5° to 38.2°152.3°, crossing a range of 17 latitude and 16 longitude.
