c4Saomai was a C2 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 194 km/h (105 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 925 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 7.0°113.3° to 30.2°151.3°, crossing a range of 23 latitude and 38 longitude.
