Lan was a C1 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2023. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 167 km/h (90 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 940 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 23.3°134.7° to 46.5°149.6°, crossing a range of 23 latitude and 15 longitude.
