Mekkhala was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the South China Sea in 2020. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 93 km/h (50 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 992 hPa. Tracking across the South China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Taiwan. The storm traveled from approximately 14.9°114.6° to 28.7°118.6°, crossing a range of 14 latitude and 4 longitude.
