Mawar was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2012. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 139 km/h (75 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 960 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 12.2°124.2° to 34.4°146.5°, crossing a range of 22 latitude and 22 longitude.
