Faxai was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Philippine Sea in 2014. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h (65 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 975 hPa. Tracking across the Philippine Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected the Philippines, Taiwan and Japan. The storm traveled from approximately 8.4°147.9° to 23.5°159.5°, crossing a range of 15 latitude and 12 longitude.
