Mawar was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2023. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 213 km/h (115 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 900 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 4.4°125.0° to 31.5°150.9°, crossing a range of 27 latitude and 26 longitude.
