Jal was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the South China Sea in 2010. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 111 km/h (60 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 988 hPa. Tracking across the South China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Taiwan. The storm traveled from approximately 6.0°78.0° to 15.0°104.5°, crossing a range of 9 latitude and 26 longitude.
