Hector was a Category 3 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea and Japan region in 2018. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 250 km/h (135 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 936 hPa tracking across the East China Sea and Japan region in the Western Pacific basin (Northern Hemisphere).
