Hector was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the East China Sea in 2018. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 250 km/h (135 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 936 hPa. Tracking across the East China Seain the Western Pacific basin (, it potentially affected Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China. The storm traveled from approximately 12.3°165.6° to 33.6°244.9°, crossing a range of 21 latitude and 79 longitude.
