Wilma was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2005. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 296 km/h (160 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 882 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 15.7°-87.1° to 45.5°-52.0°, crossing a range of 30 latitude and 35 longitude.
