Nicholas was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2003. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 111 km/h (60 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 990 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 9.5°-68.1° to 32.5°-37.0°, crossing a range of 23 latitude and 31 longitude.
