Paloma was a Category 3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Caribbean Sea in 2008. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 232 km/h (125 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 944 hPa tracking across the Caribbean Sea in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
