Paloma was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2008. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 232 km/h (125 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 944 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 13.7°-85.9° to 28.9°-77.5°, crossing a range of 15 latitude and 8 longitude.
