Ophelia was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2011. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 222 km/h (120 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 940 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 11.6°-63.3° to 51.3°-31.9°, crossing a range of 40 latitude and 31 longitude.
