Ophelia was a Category 3 tropical cyclone that formed in the North Atlantic open waters in 2011. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 222 km/h (120 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 940 hPa tracking across the North Atlantic open waters in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
