Nicole was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2016. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 222 km/h (120 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 950 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 23.2°-66.9° to 59.0°-36.5°, crossing a range of 36 latitude and 30 longitude.
