Nate was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2005. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 148 km/h (80 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 979 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 28.4°-67.0° to 46.0°-25.0°, crossing a range of 18 latitude and 42 longitude.
