Nicholas was a Severe Tropical Storm tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2021. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h (65 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 988 hPa tracking across the Gulf of Mexico in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
