Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 23.9°-54.7° to 41.6°-17.1°, crossing a range of 18 latitude and 38 longitude.
