Melissa was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2007. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h (35 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 1005 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 14.0°-53.5° to 24.6°-25.8°, crossing a range of 11 latitude and 28 longitude.
