Isabel was a Category 3 tropical cyclone that formed in the North Atlantic open waters in 2003. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 269 km/h (145 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 915 hPa tracking across the North Atlantic open waters in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
