Isabel was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2003. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 269 km/h (145 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 915 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 13.4°-81.0° to 48.0°-31.4°, crossing a range of 35 latitude and 50 longitude.
