Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 29.1°-74.0° to 45.5°-53.0°, crossing a range of 16 latitude and 21 longitude.
