Ivan was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Caribbean Sea in 2004. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 269 km/h (145 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 910 hPa. Tracking across the Caribbean Seain the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the Caribbean islands, Central America and the US East Coast. The storm traveled from approximately 8.9°-94.2° to 38.4°-27.6°, crossing a range of 30 latitude and 67 longitude.
