Gonzalo was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2014. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 232 km/h (125 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 940 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 16.4°-68.7° to 53.9°-30.9°, crossing a range of 38 latitude and 38 longitude.
