Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 27.6°-55.4° to 40.0°-16.6°, crossing a range of 12 latitude and 39 longitude.
