Gustav was a Category 1 tropical cyclone that formed in the North Atlantic open waters in 2002. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 157 km/h (85 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 960 hPa tracking across the North Atlantic open waters in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
