Gert was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2011. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 102 km/h (55 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 1000 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 26.2°-63.4° to 44.9°-44.8°, crossing a range of 19 latitude and 19 longitude.
