Fred was a Category 2 tropical cyclone that formed in the Caribbean Sea in 2009. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 194 km/h (105 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 958 hPa tracking across the Caribbean Sea in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
