Gustav was a C3 tropical cyclone that formed in the Caribbean Sea in 2008. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 250 km/h (135 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 941 hPa. Tracking across the Caribbean Seain the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the Caribbean islands, Central America and the US East Coast. The storm traveled from approximately 13.5°-94.4° to 43.7°-67.4°, crossing a range of 30 latitude and 27 longitude.
