Felix was a C2 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2001. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h (100 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 962 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 13.9°-49.0° to 35.4°-28.4°, crossing a range of 22 latitude and 21 longitude.
