Ernesto was a Severe Tropical Storm tropical cyclone that formed in the North Atlantic open waters in 2006. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h (65 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 985 hPa tracking across the North Atlantic open waters in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
