Ernesto was a Category 1 tropical cyclone that formed in the Caribbean Sea in 2012. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 157 km/h (85 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 973 hPa tracking across the Caribbean Sea in the North Atlantic basin (Northern Hemisphere).
