Cristobal was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2008. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 102 km/h (55 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 998 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 31.7°-79.8° to 44.4°-57.5°, crossing a range of 13 latitude and 22 longitude.
