Chantal was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2007. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 111 km/h (60 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 964 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 35.5°-66.5° to 66.0°-7.0°, crossing a range of 30 latitude and 60 longitude.
