Alberto was a C2 tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2000. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 204 km/h (110 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 950 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 10.8°-58.6° to 70.7°-4.9°, crossing a range of 60 latitude and 54 longitude.
