Bret was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2011. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 111 km/h (60 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 995 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 27.1°-79.7° to 39.8°-57.0°, crossing a range of 13 latitude and 23 longitude.
