Arlene was a TS tropical cyclone that formed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2005. The storm reached maximum sustained winds of 111 km/h (60 kt) with a minimum central pressure of 989 hPa. Tracking across the Gulf of Mexicoin the North Atlantic basin (, it potentially affected the US Gulf Coast, Mexico and Cuba. The storm traveled from approximately 16.9°-88.0° to 44.8°-77.6°, crossing a range of 28 latitude and 10 longitude.
